The Secret Does Work
I’m a small town girl who grew up in Maine. When I found out I was moving to Arizona, I was so excited. I thought I was going to finally experience that metropolitan city life I’ve always wanted to live. The cultural melting pot of people and a walker’s paradise has always appealed to me. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I have to say life in Phoenix was not what I had in mind. I didn’t enjoy the weather or the topography and it was a challenge to find something to do other than bars, clubbing or shopping. I was in a career that at one point I had a passion for and I was in a bad relationship that lasted way too long. I continued to burn myself out at work and come home to a guy that brought out the worst in me. On top of that I gained a lot of weight because I turned to food for comfort. The only thing that kept me there was the proximity of my family.
I finally got myself out of that situation when I broke up with my ex. Feeling liberated from a confined and stifling relationship I started to notice my life was heading in a different direction. I started everyday with the thought of “Be grateful for yesterday, look forward to the future and create in now”. I ended every night writing in my gratitude journal, even if I had a bad day I wrote something down. With a renewed spirit and positive perspective on life, I got a new job, lost 50 lbs and got a pretty amazing apartment.
Using the Law of Attraction, I took responsibility of my life, I knew that it needed a change and I had to be proactive to get the results I wanted. I used positive thinking to help control my emotions and how I responded to the lemons that life threw at me. But most of all, I embraced life with an opened mind and heart. Before I knew it many windows of opportunity opened themselves up to me. I started dating which led me to find and fall in love with the man of my dreams. We moved to San Fransisco that had all of the qualities I wanted in a city, a big diversity of people and a walker’s paradise.
The interesting thing is, I watched the secret AFTER all these changes in my life. This realization blew me away. The secret DOES work. If I could change my life positively and drastically with the power of the Law of Attraction than so could anybody else. I was so hopeful and ecstatic that I could share my story with others and help them transform their life and manifest there deepest desires. If my life can change the way it did, than you have the power to change yours as well. I have complete faith that the Secret does work. Give it a chance, and soon you’ll start to notice positive changes too.
